Our customers come to us because they want a solution -
a Continuous Weighing Solution.
Various industries continually add to their process. Our customers want the highest accuracy without disturbing the processing rate. That is our goal for each and every application. Your challenge is our green light to develop the system that best works for you. Check out the various options we've developed and patented:
Patent number: 7007557
Abstract: An impact flow scale includes a first tube, disposed substantially vertically a second tube, disposed with a downward inclination and having an inlet at an upper end thereof and a lower end of the second tube connected to the first tube, where the first and second tubes permit material communication therebetween. The impact flow scale also includes an impact plate that is hingedly suspended at or near an upper end of the first tube. A material flow path is defined from the second tube through the first tube. The impact plate is adjustably positioned in the material flow path such that materials moving along the material flow path are capable of contacting the impact plate. A sensor disposed outside the first tube is operably connected to the impact plate, thus permitting detection of a horizontal force component generated as materials move along the material flow path.
Patent number: 7913576
Abstract: A flow scale apparatus includes a substantially vertical flow path along which material can flow, a plurality of spreader baffles substantially aligned horizontally and positioned in the flow path, a plurality of basket baffles located downstream from the spreader baffles in the flow path and substantially aligned horizontally, and a sensor. The basket baffles are secured together and configured to be displaceable such that portions of the material in the flow path contact each of the basket baffles to displace the basket baffles relative to the spreader baffles as a function of a weight of the material in the flow path. The sensor is configured for sensing displacement of the basket baffles and generating an output signal.
Patent number: 10018986
Abstract: A material feed system includes a conveyor powered by a motor, a bin disposed to retain and deposit the material on the conveyor, a load transducer configured to sense total weight of the bin and retained material, a tachometer configured to produce a tachometer output reflecting conveyor speed, a motor controller configured supply the motor with a motor control command driving the motor to a volumetrically estimated mass flow rate based on the tachometer, and a compensator configured to compute a gravimetric mass flow rate based on change in total weight sensed by the load transducer. The compensator is disposed to intercept and adjust either the motor control command or the tachometer output, so as to correct for differences between the volumetrically estimated mass flow rate and the gravimetric mass flow rate.
